Ben Motevalli

Ben is a senior software engineer specialising in application development, solution architecture, cloud computing and software delivery. His background also spans computational materials science, numerical analysis, machine learning and optimisation.

After completing his PhD, Ben spent a year as a postdoctoral researcher applying machine learning to materials science. He then moved into the energy and mining sectors, translating physical models into computational engines, building predictive tools, automating engineering analysis and delivering interactive applications.

Today, he combines his engineering and scientific computing background with modern software practices to build reliable, scalable applications for complex technical challenges.
